Honoring Heritage at PCA 2025
At this year’s PCA Convention in New Orleans, we had the privilege of celebrating a decade-long of amazing cigars by HVC Cigars and its founder, Reinier Lorenzo—a visionary, a friend, and someone who continues to honor the craft and culture of premium cigars with everything he touches.
Reinier and his sister, Josefa Vega, have been close to our studio for years, and in 2025, we were honored to collaborate on this meaningful design project that marks HVC’s milestones and showcases our shared dedication to legacy and craftsmanship.
La Rosa 520: A Tribute to Roots
La Rosa 520 isn’t just a name—it’s the address of Reinier’s childhood home in Havana, Cuba. For its 10th anniversary, HVC wanted a secondary band that would pay homage to this deep personal connection while standing proudly beside the brand’s classic red and gold primary band.
We developed a bold black, red, and gold band that elevates the cigar’s presentation while staying true to its Cuban soul. The result: a layered, heritage-driven visual that bridges memory and modernity.
