Project: Custom Packaging Design & Cigar Bands

Villiger Miami by Villiger Cigars North America launched at the 2022 Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE22) which took place in Las Vegas, NV from January 26th – 28th at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The reason why it’s called Villiger Miami is that it’s a blend that Mr. Rene Castañeda, President of Villiger Cigars North America, has been giving out to people who visit the company’s Miami office.
We drew inspiration for this project from the pristine blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the hot South Florida nights. The packaging was rounded out by subtle palm tree fronds which are synonymous of Miami. Packaging is anchored by a deep blue color and both matte and coated gold accents.
Villiger Miami is off to a great start, as it has now been approved as a global brand by Villiger Cigars headquarter offices. This will take place some time in 2023 and launch in Switzerland and Germany first, and then to all markets. This is the first time since the Villiger 1888 that a global brand is develop for Villiger Cigars outside of Europe.
Villiger Miami is a very limited edition project which uses tobaccos from 2015 and 2016. This cigar is a solid mild-to-medium, well-balanced and flavorful cigar.
Production is limited to 500 boxes of each size. Laguito No.1 is a 7 ½ x 38 with an MSRP of $15.00 per cigar. The Robusto is a classic 5 x 50 with an MSRP of $15.00 per cigar. Both offered in 10-count boxes.
